The Spring Coffee Set

The Filter Coffees
Limu
This exceptional filter coffee comes from the highland region of Limu, where it ripens under ideal conditions at over 2,000 meters above sea level. Since we introduced Limu – our very first coffee – we have partnered with the Kenissa cooperative, investing your donations into sustainable local projects, from expanding access to clean drinking water to improving coffee production infrastructure. Limu is an everyday filter coffee, but far from ordinary: its balanced acidity and chocolatey notes make it more complex and exciting than a classic filter coffee. This lightly roasted single origin coffee blends fruity grape nuances with deep chocolate notes in the finish. Try it for yourself and start your day with a burst of springtime energy.
- Flavor: Grape, dark chocolate
- Processing: Washed
- Origin: Ethiopia
- Variety: 100 % Arabica
Karibu
Karibu finds the perfect balance: smooth yet flavorful, mild but never boring. With its well-rounded notes of gentle sweetness and subtle fruitiness, it’s the perfect coffee for those who enjoy harmony without monotony. This premium 100 % Arabica blend combines the best qualities from three coffee regions: Ethiopian sweetness reminiscent of dark chocolate, Brazilian spice adding depth, and Kenyan fruitiness that lingers delicately in the finish. The result is a complex, low-acidity filter coffee with a fine hint of cinnamon and a velvety mouthfeel. Ideal for those who appreciate layered, intriguing flavors and love to enjoy their coffee pure.
- Flavor: Chocolate, cinnamon
- Processing: Washed, Natural
- Origin: Brazil, Kenya, Ethiopia
- Variety: 100 % Arabica
Rugali
You open your window – the sun warms your skin, birds are singing, and the first blossoms stretch toward the light. This is the experience Rugali brings to your cup. As our first coffee from Rwanda, it is the result of our partnership with Muraho Trading, which supports local farmers and brings the uniqueness of Rwandan specialty coffee to the world. Dominant notes of tangy blackcurrant and white grape make Rugali the fruit bomb of this set, while a smooth chocolatey aftertaste harmoniously rounds out the flavor.
- Flavor: Blackcurrant, chocolate
- Processing: Natural
- Origin: Rwanda
- Variety: 100 % Arabica
Lake Kivu
Imagine the scent of caramelized almonds in the air, carried by a gentle, warm breeze announcing the arrival of spring – that’s exactly what you’ll find in every cup of Lake Kivu. With its nutty aromas, sweet caramel notes, and hints of fruity red berries, this Congolese Arabica balances vibrant freshness with delicate spice. This exceptional single origin coffee comes from Idjwi Island in the middle of Lake Kivu, where the women of the Rebuild Women’s Hope cooperative (RWH) passionately cultivate coffee while shaping their own future. Founded by human rights activist Marcelline Budza, RWH is dedicated to empowering women with economic independence and decision-making power. With every cup, you’re not only enjoying outstanding coffee but also supporting a movement that brings hope.
- Flavor: Caramel, red berries
- Processing: Washed
- Origin: Congo
- Variety: 100 % Arabica

Brewing Tips
The selected coffees are suitable for all common filter coffee brewing methods. To unlock the full flavor potential of our roasts, we particularly recommend using a manual pour-over method, such as the Hario V60. However, the AeroPress, French Press, or a classic drip coffee machine will also bring out their aromas beautifully.

The Espressos
Grano Gayo
When the first warm days make you crave la dolce vita, Grano Gayo brings the Italian café feeling straight to your home. This Arabica blend is our take on a classic Italian espresso: very dark, bold, and low in acidity. It combines beans from three carefully selected origins to create a traditional espresso with a nutty character and a rich crema. Do you enjoy cappuccino, latte macchiato, or coffee with sugar? Then you’ll love Grano Gayo.
- Flavor: Brown sugar, tiramisu
- Processing: Washed
- Origin: Peru, Honduras, Colombia
- Variety: 100 % Arabica
Sidamo
Sidamo is an espresso for those who love it vibrant and fruity. This Ethiopian single origin coffee carries the unmistakable flavors of its homeland: deep fruity notes combined with delicate spice and a lively acidity. Unlike classic espressos with dark roast aromas, this coffee highlights a diverse flavor profile. Thanks to a lighter roast, the complex nuances of this Arabica are perfectly accentuated.
Sidamo is best enjoyed pure, but it also surprises with milk (alternatives) – revealing smooth caramel notes that take center stage.
- Flavor: Caramel, dark berries
- Processing: Natural
- Origin: Ethiopia
- Variety: 100 % Arabica
Feliciano Castillo
Feliciano Castillo is a true delight for those who love nutty and chocolatey flavors. This exceptional coffee from Honduras is named after its farmer – a testament to the dedication and care that goes into its cultivation. Its medium roast creates a harmonious balance of pecan, dark chocolate, and a hint of fine spice.
With its velvety texture and low acidity, this coffee is exceptionally smooth – pure comfort in a cup. We recommend trying Feliciano Castillo as a cappuccino, where its nutty aftertaste unfolds even more intensely. Especially on chilly spring days, this single-origin coffee is your perfect everyday companion.
- Flavor: Dark chocolate, pecan
- Processing: Washed
- Origin: Honduras
- Variety: 100 % Arabica
Stephan Katongole
Velvety, sweet, and full of depth – Stephan Katongole surprises with a complexity rarely found in a 100 % Fine Robusta coffee. Named after its dedicated farmer, Stephan Katongole, this exceptional coffee continues his Ugandan grandparents’ tradition while elevating Fine Robusta quality to a new level. Thanks to the honey processing method and a carefully crafted roast profile, this espresso boasts low acidity and a smooth mouthfeel. In the cup, notes of dark honey, malt, and dried apricot unfold, while its rich, creamy crema perfectly rounds off the flavor experience. An espresso that exceeds expectations – wrapping you in warmth like the first rays of sunshine in spring.
- Flavor: Apricot, dark honey
- Processing: Honey
- Origin: Uganda
- Variety: 100 % Fine Robusta
Brewing Tips
These selected coffees are suitable for all common espresso preparation methods. To fully unlock their aromatic potential, we especially recommend using an espresso machine or a stovetop moka pot.
